Chief Graham taken in 2014 at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington DC. The walls of this monument have the names of all of the Officers on record that have been killed protecting and serving their communities in America. Please keep the families of these fallen public servants in your thoughts every week but especially during "Police week". As the inscription on the wall behind Chief Graham says "It is not how these Officers died that made them heroes, it is how they lived". With all of the negative that is out there about our law enforcement Officers, we at the WPD pray for the safety of all that serve on the thin BLUE line.  Picture courtesy Shawn Graham
